Double Arch at Arches National Park
Arches National Park is a beautiful place full of gravity-defying rock formations, interesting flora and fauna, and excellent rock climbing. My family used to go to Arches for spring break when I was little. I have many fond memories of exploring and hiking and scrambling and campfires and stargazing. That's probably why it's one of my favorite places on earth.
BEAUTIFUL, Alex! That photo is like some portal into another world. In terms of connecting with India, one of the distinctive features of Indian religious life is the rock-cut temples, carved right into the mountains; there's a whole huge list of them here at Wikipedia: rock-cut temples in India
ReplyDeleteWOW, Arches National Park seems like a beautiful place to visit. It seems like such a fun place to hike, explore, make campfires, and stargaze at. So cool! Is the picture an accurate representation of the park because it is just breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteHi Alex!
ReplyDeleteThis place looks incredible! I've been looking for new places to go hiking, so I might add this one to the list. Also, I wanted to answer the question you posted on my blog about the research I was doing! The work I was doing this summer was on hydrogels for drug delivery. The idea behind using a hydrogel is that you can encapsulate whatever pharmaceutical you need in the hydrogel, and then inject it subcutaneously, and the hydrogel will degrade and slowly release the drug. This should in turn decrease the frequency and amount of drug required to be effective.
